I hope your year is beginning well. I also hope that you have set some wonderful intentions of what you want to experience this year! An intention is different than a goal. It’s the EXPERIENCE you want to have. For example, a goal would be to weigh “x” pounds by March 15th. An intention would be: I feel great in my body!
On my last teleseminar I posed the questions: What do you want to be different in 2014? What do you want to be saying on December 31, 2014, as you reflect back on your year? Why is this important to you? How is this going to FEEL to have accomplished this? How is it going to feel if you don’t? AND, what might be the costs of you not taking the steps to make certain that happens?
For example, I intend to increase my level of fitness. I want to be really fit by the end of the year. And it’s important to me, since I want to do everything possible to support my body. And, I still have A LOT of living to do! I’m going to dedicate time 6 days a week to improve my fitness. I have a plan and I’m going to keep my word. It also helps that I use the Loving Yourself Lean process!!
FOOD FOR THOUGHT: What do YOU want to be different this year? Why is this important to you? What are the steps YOU need to take to insure you ‘get it done?’ Don’t risk disappointing yourself next New Year’s Eve!
Make this year……YOUR YEAR…..!!! Take that first step NOW! And be very proud of what you are doing!! Then, the next day, take your next step! See how easy it can be??
And, of course, if you want to learn more how Loving Yourself Lean can help you succeed at setting your intentions and reaching your goals….I’d love to speak with you!
Have a great week!
