If you are a repeat dieter, the diets you have been going on are ultimately contributing to you being overweight!! Although this is not the ONLY reason, this is a MAJOR factor contributing to your weight challenge! You have been led to believe that if you follow someone else’s program, all your weight issues are going to melt away! When, in reality, it’s actually setting you up for failure! And here is why: Each time you follow someone else’s plan, you are ignoring the very CORE of who you are. You were designed as an intuitive being. Your body communicates with you regularly what it wants and needs. Unfortunately, most of us were never really taught how to listen to our body’s wisdom! And, with time, you have learned to listen to others, rather than yourself!!
In my opinion, every time you follow someone else’s plan, a little bit of YOU dies (‘die’ is even in the word diet!)! What I mean by that is that you turn your power over to someone else. Someone has found THEIR way, but it may not be yours. So you follow THEIR plan, maybe get some results, but in the end it’s hard for you to be true to THEIR plan! And it’s hard because the CORE essence of who you are KNOWS that something is not right!
Of course there are foods that best support you, while others may not. And it’s good to educate yourself and learn about nutrition. But when you have squashed your internal radar, you are probably not even aware what your body is trying to tell you. In fact, that is another component: miscommunications. For example, you may think you ‘need’ some carbohydrates, but you really need water. You may think you’ need’ protein, but you actually may need some fat! The Loving Yourself Lean approach teaches you what foods are specifically best for YOU and how to decode the messages of your body!!!
AND being overweight is not just about eating and exercising! The mental and emotional ‘communications’ that are also going on within you are a HUGE factor in the weight loss equation! (we’ll be talking more about that soon!)

You need to learn the signals and nurture your body more. You have a perfectly designed internal guidance system that navigates what works best for YOU! And the payoffs are WONDERFUL!
